Bob Guiney & Rebecca Budig

Today in wedding history former ‘Bachelor‘ Bob Guiney married actress Rebecca Budig. The two married in a surprise ceremony at his family’s vacation home in Lakeside, Michigan.

They met while they were both filming a segment for The Bachelor XYZ for ABC Family. At the time, they both were in relationships but after their fates aligned and they both found themselves single, they began dating. Five months later Bob proposed.

**Update: The two were married for five years before announcing their divorce in April 2010. The self-confessed ‘best friends’ seem to be splitting amicably and remain very close. The romance might be gone but the respect they have for one another seems to be very strong; we wish them both the best of luck.
