The Double Wedding of Ann Landers & Dear Abby.

Before Ann Landers became the famous advice columnist she is remembered as today, she was Esther Friedman. And on July 2, 1938 she and her sister Pauline Friedman (later known as Dear Abby) wed at their Sioux City, Iowa Synagogue in a double wedding.

Though little is known about their wedding or marriages, the two sisters did go on to have a rivalry throughout their careers.

Today we celebrate not just Ann & Abby but to all of the double weddings out there!

Sisters might end up being rivals but a double wedding is forever!
