Time to break out the pearl for John and Cindy McCain. Today is the 30^th Wedding Anniversary of the Senator and his elegant leading lady.

Meeting at a military reception in Hawaii, John recalls the moment, “She was lovely, intelligent and charming. By the evening’s end, I was in love.”

And who says May-December marriages don’t work?

John said he was younger than he was. Cindy said she was older. They didn’t discover their 17-year age difference until they applied for a marriage certificate. By then it didn’t matter, and it’s been a funny joke between them and their children ever since.
