Trace Adkins & Rhonda Forlaw

“The first time I saw him, I knew he was going to be a star,” said Rhonda Forlaw of her husband, country singer Trace Adkins, and with good reason. When she met him at a club in 1994, Forlaw was a publicity manager at Arista Records who eventually helped him land a deal with Capitol Nashville. Throughout this time, what had become a friendship had turned into a romance, and Adkins got down on one knee and proposed to Forlaw during his debut at the Grand Ole Opry in November of 1996.

Their wedding was one of the most lavish in Nashville history at the time, which included antique carriages, dinner for 540 guests that included shrimp, prime rib, and chicken, and a song from Adkins called “The Rest of Mine” which he sang for Forlaw.

As of today the couple remains married, and have three daughters in addition to two other daughters from one of Adkins’ previous marriages.
