Billy Bob Thornton & Angelina Jolie
Life imitated art in 2000, when Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton married one year after playing newlyweds in the film Pushing Tin. They tied the knot at The Little Church of the West Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The bride wore blue jeans and a lilac top and the groom, also in jeans, wore a trucker hat. Showing that even stars can get married on a budget, their entire wedding cost just 189 dollars.
From the very beginning, their relationship was intense. Jolie and Thornton (who had a 20-year age difference) wore necklaces containing vials of each other’s blood and had tattoos of each other’s names on their arms. During their marriage, Thornton got busy with his rock’n'roll band and Jolie had her plate full with her movie career and their newly adopted son, Maddox.
The marriage broke apart in 2002, but everyone will remember Thornton and Jolie for the unique ways they chose to celebrate their love.
