Elvis Presley & Priscilla Beaulieu
The King of Pop first met his Bride to be when he was stationed in Germany while serving in the United States Army.
Priscilla, who was living in Germany with her parents, (she was only 14 years old) instantly liked the talented Elvis. The two dated while he was stationed in Germany and eventually when she was older, her parents allowed her to move to America to continue their relationship.
They became engaged just before Christmas of 1966, seven years after their first meeting! They married at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas at 9:30 in the morning. The early morning nuptials were arranged to fool the press who thought that they would be marrying in the afternoon. After the ceremony the couple hosted a 100 guest breakfast for their friends. Not to leave anyone out, the two traveled to Graceland on May 29th to have a second reception with the family members who were not able to travel to Las Vegas.
Although the couple ended their marriage after just 5 years they remained friends until Elvis passed away in 1977.
