Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson

You might say that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were destined to be together.  The two actors first met in 1981 on the set of the TV sitcom “Bosom Buddies.” Then four years later, they met again as co-stars of the film “Volunteers.”  Three years later they were married.

Today, as they celebrate their 22th wedding anniversary, Hanks and Wilson are considered one of Hollywood’s great couples. They give marriage a good name. Besides film development and production, the two have taken on many political, social and charitable causes. They support many environmental issues, such as alternative fuel, and actively support same-sex marriage.

Hanks and Wilson have two sons, Chester (Chet) and Truman. Hanks also has two children, Colin and Elizabeth, from a previous marriage. We tip our fanciest hats to Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks!
