John Candy & Rosemary Margaret Hobor

Today in wedding history, John Candy, the loveable, talented actor/comedian, married his sweetheart, Rosemary Margaret Hobor.  Together, they had two children, Jennifer and Christopher. Candy and Hobor remained together until Candy’s death in 1994 at the age of 43.

Rising to fame from his work in the improv comedy troupe, Second City, Candy is remembered for his work in many cool classics including Volunteers, Splash, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Brewster’s Millions, The Great Outdoors, Armed and Dangerous, Who’s Harry Crumb? and Uncle Buck.

Though the world lost John Candy early he continues to be an inspiration to romantics everywhere who are influenced by his strong kind spirit and the love and passion he had for his wife and family. We’re sorry for his wife. We’re sorry for his fans.  We miss John Candy.
