Tia Mowry & Cory Hardict
Tia Mowry and Cory Hardict, who had been together since the year 2000, marriedÂ
on this date in 2008.
The outdoor ceremony took place at the Biltmore Hotel in Santa Barbara, California. The blushing bride wore a white, empire-waisted Kevan Hall dress. Of it, she said, “I was really going for a very simple, elegant look because I wanted to look back at my pictures years down the road and say, ‘Wow, that still looks good today.’ ” Her bridesmaids wore custom rose-colored cocktail-length Tadashi gowns.
She was escorted down the aisle by her father Timothy while singer Kenny Lattimore sang “For You”. Wrapped around the base of her bouquet of pink roses was her “something new,” a diamond infinity necklace given to her by her twin sister, Tamera.
Tamera, who was the maid of honor at the wedding, also helped coordinate the wedding.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds had a Midsummer Night’s Dream – style reception, where they had their first dance to Beyonce’s “Dangerously in Love 2″. They even had a four-tier vanilla-and-red velvet wedding cake covered in pink roses.
But how did the bride feel about her big day? “The night was filled with such joy, peace, love and just extreme excitement,” she said. “It was a party. It was a celebration!” We hope that their anniversary is filled with just as much joy, love, and excitement!
