The Tomlinsons (LT2 as they are known to friends)

NFL Superstar LaDanian Tomlinson and his wife, LaTorsha, are celebrating their seventh anniversary today.

The couple met at Texas Christian University, where he was on an athletic scholarship and she was on an academic scholarship.

According to LaTorsha, she was tutoring a friend who said he knew someone who liked her and wanted her number. She told the friend that “a real man would come and ask himself.”

A few weeks later at a party, LaDainian got up the nerve and introduced himself. They’ve been together ever since.

In the football world, he is known to fans as LT. Since she has the same initials, their friends often refer to them as LT2.

How do they keep up the romance? With date nights! In an interview with an NBC reporter. LaTorsha said, “Monday night is the night we go out. It’s our night.”

Since today is Sunday, we hope they make an exception to that rule and go out and celebrate tonight!
