Elizabeth Hurley & Arun Nayar

British Ceremony
When Elizabeth Hurley wore a Versace gown known as the “safety pin” dress as Hugh Grant’s date to the premiere of Four Weddings and a Funeral in 1994, she became a household name. So it’s no surprise that the model-actress opted for a Versace gown at her British ceremony.
That’s right, British ceremony.
Hurley and her beau, Indian businessman, Arun Nayar had several wedding celebrations, which spanned over eight days and two continents.
In fact, we at PROPOSAL are not even sure if today is the day that Hurley and her hubby celebrate their wedding. Some sources say today, some say tomorrow and then of course there’s the anniversary of their Hindu wedding, which is on March 9th.

Hindu Ceremony
One thing we do know is the price of their wedding was outrageous. According to romancestuck.com, their wedding cost 2.5 million dollars. That includes a banquet with 80 dishes, a wedding party cricket match and a parade that featured white horses, camels and elephants.
This just goes to show that her “if you’ve got it, flaunt it” philosophy of fashion extended to her wedding. Whichever day they choose to celebrate, happy third anniversary to the extravagant couple!
