He won the Super Bowl yesterday and is celebrating his anniversary today! It’s been a great couple of days for Drew Brees.

The New Orleans Saints QB married his college sweetheart Brittany Dudchecnko on this day in  2003. Though the couple may be picture perfect their union was less than stellar.

Brees met the blonde beauty on his 20th birthday. He was partying hard and got a little tipsy.

“I made a real fool of myself,” Brees said of their original meeting.

Luckily, six months later, they went on a group date to a movie and the Saint’s player redeemed himself!

Their love for each other extends through out the communities where they have lived. Together, they founded The Brees Dream Foundation the same year of their marriage and since then they have raised over 4.5 million towards cancer research and community rehabilitation projects in New Orleans, San Diego and Purdue.

Congratulations to 7 years of wedded bliss!!
