Lisa Loeb & Roey Hershkovitz
Songstress Lisa Loeb & her beau Roey Hershkovitz married one year ago today had a very business-like beginning.
In Fall of 2006, Hershkovitz, a TV producer & music coordinator met with Loeb in Los Angeles to pitch potential show to her. Both agreed that they had more than business on the brain at their initial meeting.
“She curtsied. I had been charmed and thought she was very cute and cool,” Hershkovitz said.
“I had a crush on my meeting,” Loeb added.
Despite the two’s beautiful union they decided to part ways blaming bad timing, but six weeks later the couple was back together and ready for wedded bliss. Just one month after their reunion Hershkovitz proposed at the Maritime Hotel in front of a fireplace.
Loeb told reporters about her perfect proposal: “Billecart rosé salmon pink champagne; miniature Star Wars figurines that looked like us in last year’s Halloween costumes; and he brought a boom box that played our song ‘All Night Long’ by Lionel Ritchie. We celebrated with dinner at Scarpetta, over black pasta and every dessert, and then raced off to see AC/DC at Madison Square Garden.”
Happy one year from us at Proposal!!!!
